After over a decade of litigation and court battles the Wyandotte Nation officially opened the 7th Street Casino in downtown Kansas City, Kansas, on Thursday, January 10th. At 6:00 pm the doors opened for the opening ceremony which was attended by Kansas City, Kansas, Mayor Joe Reardon, local congressman Dennis Moore and many other local dignitaries along with a large contingent of Wyandotte citizens.
